Montverde Academy boys basketball continued its strong run on Sunday afternoon, defeating La Lumiere 68–62 on day two of the St. James Event in Springfield, Virginia.

The win marked the Eagles' 10th consecutive victory, improving Montverde Academy to 18–5 overall and 8–3 in Nike EYBL Scholastic play.

Oneal Delancy led the Eagles with 19 points and six rebounds, while Derek Daniels added 16 points and seven rebounds. Dhani Miller filled the stat sheet with 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, and Javion Tyndale chipped in 12 points and four assists.

Montverde Academy was efficient at the free throw line, converting 19 of 21 attempts (90.5 percent). Delancy was perfect, going 10-for-10 from the stripe. The Eagles also controlled the interior, holding a decisive 46–18 advantage in points in the paint.
