Montverde Academy boys lacrosse delivered a strong all-around performance Tuesday evening, defeating Trinity Prep 10-1 at Dan Newlin Injury Attorney Stadium.
The Eagles controlled the game from the opening faceoff, combining efficient offense with dominant defensive play to secure their third win of the season.
Gavin Ionelli led the offensive attack with four goals, while Blake Kuhn orchestrated the offense with a standout performance that included two goals and four assists. Tanner Moore added two goals and collected four groundballs in a well-rounded effort.
Nate Kuhn contributed one goal and one assist, and Nate Diaz scored once while leading the team with five groundballs.

Defensively, the Eagles were outstanding, limiting Trinity Prep to just two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Angelo Ranaldi made one save and allowed only one goal in the decisive victory.
Montverde Academy improves to 3-4 on the season.
The Eagles return to action Thursday when they travel to face Bolles at 6:00 p.m.
