The Montverde Academy boys basketball team closed out its 2025–26 home schedule and regular season in impressive fashion on Friday evening, defeating Tennessee Collegiate 85–58 at The Nest.

With the victory, the Eagles finish the regular season at 21–5 overall and 11–3 in Nike EYBL Scholastic play, securing the Nike EYBL Scholastic regular-season championship. Montverde Academy earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference postseason tournament and will return to action on Friday, March 13 at 12:00 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.

Montverde Academy featured a balanced offensive performance in the win. Dhani Miller led the Eagles with 18 points, five rebounds, and six assists, while Derek Daniels contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. Oneal Delancy added 12 points, and Trace Lopez scored 11 points on an efficient 5-of-6 shooting from the field. Javion Tyndale chipped in nine points and eight assists to help guide the offense.

As a team, the Eagles shot an efficient 56.5 percent from the field (35-for-62) and 44.4 percent from three-point range (8-for-18).
