Montverde Academy's girls beach volleyball team continued its postseason run in dominant fashion, defeating Orangewood Christian 3-0 in the semifinal round of the 2026 FHSAA Class 1A Region 2 Championship at the MVA Beach Volleyball Complex.

With the victory, the Eagles advance to the regional championship for the third consecutive year. The win also carries a little added significance, as Orangewood Christian handed MVA a loss in last year's regional final, making this result a measure of redemption for the program.

MVA will now host Tampa Prep in the regional championship match on Tuesday, May 5 at 4:00 PM. The Eagles will be looking to capture their first regional title in program history.
