Montverde Academy's track & field teams delivered a strong showing at the Lake-Sumter Championships, with the girls finishing third out of 13 teams and the boys placing eighth out of 13 in Bushnell.

Several Eagles highlighted the meet with event titles, led by dominant performances across distance, hurdles, sprints, and field events. Lyla McMillen captured the girls 1600-meter run in 5:16.21, while Jizelle Holland won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:01.47. Amaris Munya added another distance title in the 800 meters (2:23.43), and Nakira Hudson sprinted to gold in the 200 meters (25.12).

In the field, Montverde Academy swept the top three spots in the girls pole vault, as Kylee Brown took first (3.50m), followed by Gabriella Rabon in second (3.35m) and Julia Saelg in third (3.20m). The boys pole vault also saw a strong showing, with Grant Williams winning the event (4.10m) and Max Georgiev finishing second at the same height.
