Girls Beach Volleyball Heads To Tallahassee For Historic Final Four Appearance

The biggest weekend in program history has arrived for Montverde Academy girls beach volleyball.

After capturing the first regional championship in program history earlier this week, the Eagles now turn their attention toward the biggest stage in the state as Mva travels to Tallahassee for the 2026 FHSAA Class 1A Girls Beach Volleyball State Championship.

MVA enters the weekend as the No. 2 seed in the Final Four after an undefeated regular season and regional championship run. The Eagles currently stand at a perfect 17-0 overall this season and are now just two wins away from a state title.

MVA will open play in the semifinal round on Friday at 6:00 p.m. against No. 3 seed Westminster Christian School.

With a win on Friday evening, the Eagles would advance into the state championship match on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. It would mark the first state championship appearance in program history for MVA girls beach volleyball.

Awaiting in the opposite semifinal are No. 1 seed Berkeley Preparatory School and No. 4 seed Episcopal School of Jacksonville, who will battle for the other spot in Saturday's championship match.

The Eagles have spent the entire season proving they belong among Florida's elite. Now, after making history with the program's first regional championship, MVA has the opportunity to accomplish something even greater.

Two matches. One goal.

A state championship.
