The Montverde Academy boys golf team earned a first-place finish in a three-team match Tuesday on the El Campeón course at Mission Inn Resort & Club.
The Eagles combined for a team score of 152, finishing nine strokes ahead of Lake Minneola High School (161). East Ridge High School placed third with a score of 182.
Byungchan Yoon led the field with a match-low round of 37. Terence McAuley and Xuanhe Fan each carded a 38 to tie for third place, while Aaron Koo completed MVA's four counting scores with a 39.
Ino Chung shot a 41, and Ethan Press finished with a 43 to round out the Eagles' lineup.
