Montverde Academy Athletics

Coach Josh Davis is entering his third season with the Montverde Academy Volleyball program. He grew up in Sarasota, FL, where he started playing beach volleyball competitively. As his passion grew it transferred to the indoor court where he began his coaching career. Coach Davis assisted at the club level for three years, then moved on to assist at the State College of Florida for three years. Coach Davis served as a student manager during the inaugural year of NCAA Beach Volleyball at Florida State University. Florida State University, under the leadership of Coach Danalee Corso, made it to the NCAA final four for two consecutive years. Coach Davis is proud to have been a part of this momentous period for the Seminoles. Coach Davis is enjoying his second year of coaching on the professional beach volleyball tour (AVP) and his first year on the world tour (FIVB).
