Bradley Jacks joined Montverde Academy in 2025 as an assistant coach with the Varsity National basketball program, bringing a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching career.
Jacks comes to Montverde after five seasons at Quinnipiac University, where he served in multiple roles from 2019–25. He began as a graduate assistant in 2019-20 before moving into the role of video coordinator in 2021–22. From 2022–25, he was an assistant coach, helping the Bobcats capture back-to-back Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular season titles while posting consecutive 15–5 league records. In December 2020, he was selected to the inaugural class of the TopConnect Graduate Assistant Leadership Academy (GALA), one of only 22 chosen nationwide from over 115 applicants.Overall, during his time with Quinnipac, the Bobcats won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular season championship twice (2024 and 2025) and two of their players were named MAAC Player of the Year (Matt Balanc in 2024 and Amarri Monroe in 2025).
Prior to his time at Quinnipiac, Jacks served as an assistant coach at Randolph-Macon College under Josh Merkel during the 2018-19 season, where he worked with Division III National Player of the Year Buzz Anthony. That season, the Yellow Jackets were ranked top-10 nationally, won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and advanced into the round of 16 at the NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament.
As a player, Jacks was a standout power forward at Babson College from 2014–18. A three-time team captain and two-time All-Conference selection, he helped lead the Beavers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Final Fours (2015, 2017) and the program’s first-ever national championship in 2017. Babson also won two NEWMAC Championships during his career. Jacks scored 1,107 points across four years, averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game as a senior while shooting 52.1 percent from the field.
A native of Fort Washington, Maryland, Jacks graduated from Babson in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing. He later earned his MBA from Quinnipiac University in 2021. He was also the recipient of the Student Diversity Leadership Scholarship at Babson.
His cousin, Alana Smith, was a five-time All-American tennis player at North Carolina State.
Jacks credits his mentors who have influenced his career, which include Josh Merkel (Randolph-Macon), Stephen Brennan (Babson), and Montverde Academy head coach Steve Turner.
Jacks resides in Minneola, Florida.
