Montverde Academy Athletics

Chris Spears has been with the Center for Basketball Development at Montverde Academy since 2022.

He is a 2015 graduate of Pacific Union College with a degree in Kinesiology and earned his Masters Degree in Higher Education from the University of Colorado in 2022.

While with Pacific Union College, Spears a two-year member of its men's basketball team where he led the team in three point field goal percentage. A native of Sacramento, California, Spears credits former Bradshaw Christian Academy basketball coach Joe Bowers as his greatest mentor. He gave Spears his first opportunity in basketball coaching.
