Jola Graham

Jola Graham has been with Montverde Academy as the Director of Volleyball Operations and head coach for the indoor and beach volleyball teams since July of 2022.

Graham oversees the day-to-day operations of the volleyball program, including its teams, camps and coaching staff.

During the 2022-23 school year, Graham coached the Eagles to a 17-9 overall record and a berth into the FHSAA Class 3A Region 2 tournament during indoor season, and a 10-8 record during beach season, which included coaching the Orlando Sentinel Orlando Area Player of the Year (Thalita Marangon). During the 2023-24 campaign, she led the indoor team to a 10-14 overall record and the beach volleyball team to an 18-3 record, en route to winning the Citrus League and FHSAA District championships. In 2024-25 season, she coached the indoor team to a 14-9 record and the program's first District championship since the 2021 season and an appearance in the regional championship game. During beach volleyball season, the program won the District championship for the second year in a row, while finishing 15-2 overall.

Before her appointment with MVA, Graham was at Hilton Head Preparatory School in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where she has served as Athletic Assistant for one year. Prior to that, Graham was at Savannah Country Day School, in Savannah, Georgia where she had been the Director of Volleyball & Physical Education teacher for five years. While at Savannah Country Day School, Graham coordinated the day-to-day operations of the volleyball program for eight teams between its upper and middle schools, while hiring, training and mentoring its coaches. Prior to that, Graham served for four years as Operations Director and Head Volleyball Coach at Savannah State University, an NCAA Division I institution.

A former student-athlete herself, and a Lodz, Poland native, Graham's playing experience includes competing in national tournaments for her native country, including the Polish National Junior's Volleyball tournament and the European Indoor Volleyball Championship. She won two silvers and a bronze medal at the Indoor Volleyball Championship of Universities in Poland while representing the University of Lodz.  She also won a silver and bronze medal at the Beach Volleyball Championship of Universities, while representing the University.

Graham's volleyball experience also includes serving as a summer select high performance camp evaluator and setters coach for USA Volleyball.

She is a 2002 graduate from the University of Lodz where she earned a master's degree in Physical and Health Education.

Graham resides in Montverde, Florida with her husband Steven who serves on the coaching staff and is Director of Athletics of the Middle School.
