Jose Davila joined Montverde Academy in July 2025 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Program Development. In his role, he oversees compliance across all athletic programs, supports coaching staff development, and leads initiatives to enhance the overall student-athlete experience, ensuring the highest standards of academic and athletic excellence.
Davila brings extensive experience in athletic administration, education, and coaching. Prior to Montverde Academy, he served as Athletic Director and physical education teacher at Pinecrest Lakes Prep, where he led the development of the school’s athletic vision, policies, and compliance standards while also managing fundraising, scheduling, and staff development.
Earlier in his career, Davila worked as Dean at Union Park Elementary School, fostering student engagement, achievement, and character development. From 2019–2023, he taught physical education and coached boys and girls basketball at Horizon West Middle School.
A former collegiate basketball player, Davila competed at both the University of West Florida and Missouri Southern University before earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida in 2018.
At Montverde Academy, Davila is committed to supporting student-athletes both on and off the field while strengthening the Academy’s tradition of excellence in athletics.
