Sixteen Montverde Academy senior athletes committed to play their sport on a collegiate level on Friday, November 11, 2016. The athletes who signed and their respective colleges are as follows:

·       Santiago Sarmiento - San Francisco University (Men's Soccer)

·       Savannah Swenson - Belmont Abbey College (Women's Indoor Volleyball)

·       Chase Vosvick - Loyola University of Maryland (Men's Soccer)

·       Maria Jose Rojas Ulloa - Illinois State University (Women's Golf)

·       Yukie Sasaki - University of Houston (Women's Golf)

·       Sofia Gomez Enriquez Riart - Northern Illinois University (Women's Golf)

·       Carlos Marrero - West Florida University (Men's Golf)

·       Ben El Cohn – Nova Southeastern University (Men's Golf)

·       Brett Inserra – Loylola University Maryland (Men's Golf)

·       Philip Chen - University of Charleston West Virginia (Men's Golf)

The students attended the signing ceremony on Friday in front of the entire Upper School contingent, friends and family while wearing various pieces of clothing that represented their college commitments. They then signed documents that signal their continued commitments in college. We couldn't be more excited for these student-athletes and their college journey ahead. Congrats, Eagles!
