In its inaugural Premier Development League (PDL) game, SIMA Aguilas defeated The Villages SC 2-1 on Saturday night. 

The Villages SC are the defending Southeast Division champions. 

Both goals for SIMA Aguilas were scored by Santiago Patino. 

The PDL season consists of 14 games from now until the middle of July and SIMA Aguilas will face off against teams from around the state of Florida. 

Update May 23, 2017:

SIMA Aguilas defeated FC Miami City 2-1 on May 20. 

Patino scored his third goal of the season and Biska Biyombo added the other for the Aguilas. 

FC Miami City was 3-0 before the match.
