Montverde Academy Girls Soccer Announces Montverde International Futbol Club
MIFC focuses on total athlete development both on and off the field
February 26, 2018 (Montverde, FL) – The Montverde Academy girls soccer program officially announced the Montverde International Futbol Club set to start in the fall of 2019. MIFC is dedicated to promoting total athletic development in every individual and also provides one of the best private school settings in the country. This experience will provide each student-athlete the proper training and learning opportunities needed to perform at the collegiate and professional levels.
"MIFC is an accumulation of the past 8 years. Each year adding key components, that we feel continually raise the bar on total athletic and academic development," said Head Varsity Coach and Director of MIFC Robbie Aristodemo. "Through all the success we have had with our current structure, we felt the time is now to enhance our program, push the envelope and bring more awareness to local and international girls. At the end of the day, consistency matters, training at a high-level matters and academics matter. We have everything in place for young female footballers to develop to their full potential."
Recognized as one of the best soccer programs in the nation, MIFC is a perfect combination of sports and academics. From an educational standpoint, Montverde Academy offers a 100 percent college acceptance rate, over 30 Advanced Placement classes, a myriad of clubs and organizations to foster leadership skills and community service along with a diverse group of students representing 92 different countries. MVA also provides room and board for all students interested in on campus-living.
MIFC is directed by Aristodemo who has over 25 years of both coaching and professional playing experience. Aristodemo has led the girls' soccer team to three consecutive State Championships and won back to back in 2018 and 2019. Coach Aristodemo along with the MIFC staff, is committed to developing and improving the talents and athleticism of female student-athletes. His goal for MIFC is to develop young women for the next level in their soccer career with the balance of training and academics, as well as yearlong college exposure. The coaching staff will demand time and effort from each player that is required to achieve the best performance both academically and athletically.
