20 MVA Students Sign National Letters of Intent, Totaling Over Half a Million in Athletic Scholarships
February 26, 2020 (Montverde, FL) – Montverde Academy is proud to announce that 20 student-athletes participated in the second National Signing Day, marking the first time that these high school seniors can sign a binding National Letter of Intent to play collegiate sports with their respective college or university that they have chosen.
Some of the National Letters of Intent that were signed included prestigious colleges such as the University of South Florida, University of Mississippi, University of Central Florida, Penn State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Jacksonville University and more. Each student-athlete earned the opportunity for full and partial scholarships totaling more than $538,000.00.
The signing ceremony was held at the EdgeCenter for Sportsmanship and Wellness during the MVA Upper School assembly. There, the signees were accompanied by family, friends, and coaches to be recognized and celebrated by the MVA community for their outstanding athletic and academic achievements.

"This is an exciting day for a student-athlete and his/her family as it is the culmination of many years of hard work and sacrifice. We wish our students continued success and look forward to watching them pursue their passion at the collegiate level."
