Coach Kevin Boyle Set to Host Virtual Basketball Session

Montverde Academy Head Basketball Coach and three-time Naismith National Coach of the Year Kevin Boyle will be volunteering in a virtual basketball clinic with over 200 renowned basketball coaches across the nation on April 2, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Click here to book the virtual clinic.

Due to the COVID 19 preventative measures, CoachesClinic.com is offering a virtual digital platform for coaches to share their knowledge and training skills with other professionals and viewers. Some of the coaches involved in the virtual sessions are Billy Donovan, Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Coach, Seth Greenburg, ESPN Analyst, and Penn State University Men's Basketball Coach Pat Chambers.

In a span of 17 days, each coach will dive into nine different categories relating to basketball such as leadership on and off the court, skill development, culture, fundamentals, practice planning, shooting, defense, offensive strategy, and mindfulness. Coach Boyle will be explaining how to effectively use perimeter skill development drills in daily practices.

Boyle has been honored by being named Max Prep's Coach of the Decade (2010-2020) and was chosen as the Naismith National Coach of the Year three times (2020, 2018 and 2011). In total, Boyle has earned eight National Coach of Year awards and has fostered over 60 NCAA Division I Scholarships for his athletes. In his most recent season, Boyle has led the Eagles to a 25-0 record with three McDonald's All-Americans (Cade Cunningham, Day'Ron Sharpe, and Scottie Barnes) projected to be a first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
