February 24, 2021 (Montverde, FL) – Montverde Academy is proud to announce that 20 student-athletes participated in our college signing day on February 24, marking the first time that these high school seniors have announced they are receiving scholarships from the respective schools based on their athletic and academic abilities. Each student-athlete has earned the opportunity for full and partial scholarships totaling almost $1.2 million.
Fifteen MVA student-athletes announced their college selection on Wednesday, with an additional 5 announcing their commitment from our partner, the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA).
Student-athletes have earned scholarships to play their sport for prestigious universities such as University of Pennsylvania, University of Portland, University of California San Diego, Colorado State University, and more.
"The entire Montverde Academy community congratulates our student-athletes and their families on their tremendous accomplishment," said Dr. Kasey C. Kesselring, Montverde Academy Head of School. "This is an exciting day for a student-athlete and his/her family as it is the culmination of many years of hard work and sacrifice.
