"We did not execute the way we should have," head coach Special Jennings said. "And that's credit to Legacy Early College and the defense they played. All in all we started off slow and we picked it up and I'm happy that we were able to put ourselves together and win the game."
It was also the fiftieth win in coach Jennings' tenure at Montverde Academy.
"I had no idea I was near fifty wins and it feels great man to do it in front of the home crowd," Jennings said. "Anytime you can bear the fruits of your labor is great. I've had great teams here, and young ladies that work hard, done the work, so they make me look good, so credit to every team I have coached here so far."
Jennings' will look for win 51 on Saturday when the Eagles host the Webb School at the Nest at 6:00 pm.
