Montverde Academy girls' basketball beat Sarasota High School 83-29 at the Nest on Wednesday. 

Jordyn Griggs had a team high of 14 points, while Vivian Iwuchuku had a team high of eight rebounds. 

The Eagles led the entire game. At the end of the first quarter, the Eagles led 17-3.

Montverde Academy continued to increase the lead all the way in the second quarter and led 44-10 at halftime.

Montverde lead 70-25 by the end of the third quarter, before finishing up with the 54-point win.

"We don't play down to the level completion, you just have to show up and play," head coach Special Jennings said.

The Montverde Academy girls basketball team is still undefeated this season and will play next on December 29 for day one of the Tampa Christmas Invitational. The Eagles will play against Lake Highland Prep on the first day.
