Baseball Defeats Lake Highland Prep

The Montverde Academy baseball team defeated Lake Highland Prep 10-0 at Francisco Lindor Field on Wednesday evening.

The win improves the Eagles to 15-7 on the season.

Salvador Alvarez was 3-for-3 in the win with three runs and a run batted in, while AJ Goytia went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs. Victor Martinez went 1-for-2 with a 3-run homer and he scored twice. Justin Orridge went 2-for-3 with a run batted in.

Oscar Hernandez earned the win after going 5.0 innings and allowing no runs while striking out 10.
