Baseball Falls to IMG Academy

The Montverde Academy baseball team suffered its first home loss of the season as the Eagles were defeated by IMG Academy 13-7 at Francisco Lindor Field on Tuesday evening.

The loss snaps Montverde Academy's five game win streak and leaves the Eagles at 13-7 on the year.

Japhet Rosado led the Eagles with three hits and three runs batted in, while Victor Martinez went 3-for-5. Salvador Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs, while Jorge Bello went 2-for-4 and scored once.
