Softball Loses at Winter Springs

The Montverde Academy softball team lost 3-0 at Winter Springs High School on Tuesday evening.

Winter Springs scored two runs in the second and another in the third to round out the scoring. The Eagles had five base runners, all via base on balls.

Nevaeh Williams suffered the loss, going 5.1 innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits, while striking out three.

Montverde Academy closes out its 2022 regular season schedule on Thursday with a game at Apopka High School at 7:00 pm.
