Montverde, Fla.— Montverde Academy is excited to announce that thirty-four more senior student-athletes have committed to play their sport at the collegiate level and have accepted offers to play starting in the 2022-23 academic year.
Alongside their family members and in front of the Montverde Academy student body, faculty and staff during Wednesday's Assembly, the student-athletes took center stage for a congratulatory ceremony at the EdgeCenter for Sportsmanship and Wellness.
This was the third College Signing Day at Montverde Academy this academic year, and between the 34 who signed today, along with the 29 who signed in February and 22 who signed in November, a grand total of 85 senior student-athletes have made official commitments to college athletics.
Overall, the 87 Montverde Academy student-athletes have secured over $22.5 million in scholarships.
"To me, that's pretty incredible and a true testament to who we are and our core values of excellence, accountability, growth, leadership, education and sportsmanship," said Director of Athletic Operations, Khrystal Phiri."
