Montverde, Fla. – The McDonald's All-American roster came out with a pair of wins for Montverde Academy as the Eagles landed two players who were named to the 2023 roster.

MVA boys' basketball players Kwame Evans and Sean Stewart were among the 48 players nationally who were named to the prestigious honor.

Evans, a 6-9 forward committed to the University of Oregon, is currently listed as the No. 13 ranked player in the ESPN Class of 2023 basketball rankings. He is averaging 9.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game so far this season.

Stewart, a 6-8 forward committed to Duke University, is currently ranked No. 16 on the ESPN Class of 2023 basketball rankings. This season he has averaged 8.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

So far this season, Evans and Stewart have helped lead the Eagles to a 17-2 start to the season.

The McDonald's All-American Games will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Fans can see Evans, Stewart and the rest of the McDonald's All-American all-star on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET.
