The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team defeated Lake Highland Prep 62-55 in Orlando on Saturday afternoon to improve to 5-0 overall this season.

The Eagles were led by Jaloni Cambridge with 18 points, followed by Vivian Iwuchukwu with 13 and Lourdes Da Silva Costa with 10.

MVA's next game is this Wednesday at Central Pointe Christian Academy in Kissimmee at 6:00 pm.
