Montverde, FL (September 13, 2023) -- Although Naju Peixoto had 12 kills, three blocks, and five digs, Montverde Academy girls' volleyball lost 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-21) to Lake Highland Prep on Wednesday evening in the Nest.

Paola De Chavarria Munoz added 25 assists and five service aces, while Giavanna Parker had six kills.

The Eagles had a .363 attack percentage on the evening.

Montverde Academy is back in action this weekend for the Lake Howell Varsity Invitational at Game Point Event Center in Orlando. The Eagles will face Coral Reef High School at 6:00 pm, followed by Bishop Moore High School at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, MVA will face Spruce Creek High School at 9:00 pm before moving to bracket play later in the day. For tournament information, click here.
