The Montverde Academy girls' golf team defeated West Orange High School 100-144 in a rain shortened six-hole match at Bella Collina on Tuesday afternoon.

Victoria Renzi shot a 24 (Even) to lead the team, while Michelle Jing Su scored a 25 (+1). Romina Salazar scored a 27 (+3), while Gurbaine Star had a 29 (+5).

Delaney Dorsey, as a non-scorer, scored a 25 (+9) through four holes.

The Eagles are now 3-1 overall this season and are back on the links this Friday for the Knights Invitational hosted by East Ridge High School at Legends Golf Course in Clermont. Tee-time is scheduled for 8:30 am.
