The Montverde Academy girls' volleyball was defeated 3-1 (20-25, 17-25, 25-19, 17-25) by Trinity Prep at the Nest on Tuesday evening.

Paola De Chavarria Munoz had a solid game with eight kills, 16 digs and 18 assists, while Bailey Hollis added a team-high 14 kills to go along with 17 assists. Suhmer Henriques added six kills and a team-high five service aces.

Evy DeClercq had five kills, 11 digs and three service aces, and Jadyn Langley added 13 digs and three service aces.

The Eagles return to the court on Wednesday evening for a match at Lake Minneola High School at 6:30 pm.
