The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team defeated Wesleyan School 56-41 at the War Games Classic in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday afternoon.
The win is MVA's tenth in a row, and the Eagles improved to 17-1 on the season.
Jaloni Cambridge scored a team-high 12 points, while Vivian Iwuchukwu added 11.
Monday's win also marked the final game of 14 straight games away from the Nest for the Eagles. MVA went 13-1 in that 14-game stretch. During that span, the well-traveled Eagles competed in Florida, as well as Arizona, Tennessee, Washington, DC and Georgia.
The Eagles return home for their next three contests. MVA's next game is against Southeastern Prep at the Nest on Friday at 7:00 pm, followed by a game against Palm Bay High School on Friday, February 1 at 7:00 pm. then IMG Academy on Friday, February 9 at 6:00 pm.
