**** UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict with at least one team in the district, the schedule for the district playoffs have changed. MVA will now play in the semifinals on Wednesday, October 16 against the winner between No. 4 seed South Sumter High School and No. 5 seed Umatilla High School, which will be contested  on Tuesday October 15.

The Montverde Academy girls volleyball team has earned the No. 1 seed for the 2024 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 3A District 6 tournament.

The Eagles, 10-8 overall this regular season, have a first round bye and will play on Tuesday in the semifinal round against the winner of Monday's game between No. 4 seed South Sumter High School and No. 5 seed Umatilla High School.

Should the MVA win its semifinal round game, the Eagles will advance to the championship and play on Thursday at 7:00 pm against either No. 2 seed The Villages, No. 3 seed Taylor High School or No. 6 seed Angeline Academy of Innovation.

All district tournament games will be played at The Villages School in The Villages, Florida.
