The Montverde Academy baseball team lost 11-1 to IMG Academy Gray on Wednesday morning in Sanford.

The Eagles are now 7-3 on the season.

MVA had four hits in the game, the Eagles were led by Federic Irving who was 1-for-3 with a double and a run, while Arnaldo Gonzalez was 1-for-3 with a run batted in. Rainer Garcia and Joevansky Velez had one hit each for MVA.

Irving suffered the loss after going 4.0 innings and allowing four runs on four hits with three strikeouts.

The Eagles are back at it on Thursday against Martin County High School at the Sperling Sports Complex in DeLand, Florida at 12:30 pm.
