The Montverde Academy boys lacrosse team defeated IMG Academy 9-7 in Bradenton on Thursday evening.

With the win, MVA improves to 9-4 overall and winners of seven of its last eight games.

Drew Glass had a team-high three goals and four assists, while Camden Fisher and Tyler McTaggert scored two goals each.

Blake Kuhn and Mason Eldridge added one goal each in the win.

Sam Juhnke made 17 saves in net for the Eagles.

MVA returns action on Wednesday, April 3 for a game at Holy Trinity Episcopal at 6:00 pm.
