The Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team lost 9-5 at Bishop Moore Friday evening in the semifinal round of the FHSAA district tournament.

Tyler McTaggart led with 2 goals, while Blake Kuhn, Drew Glass and Aaron Bell added one goal each.

Goalkeeper Sam Juhnke had eight saves, and the Eagles overall picked up 12 groundballs and won 8 faceoffs.

The Eagles, now eliminated from the district tournament, will await to see if they receive a bid into the regional tournament. If they do, they will play in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, April 24 against an opponent and location to be determined.
