The Montverde Academy girls golf team defeated Lake Highland Prep 148-179 at Bella Collina on Tuesday afternoon. 

Michelle Jing Su paced the Eagles with a 36 (Even) over the nine holes, with Maria Luiza Soares and Jenny Lee finishing right behind with a 38 (+2) each. Chanelle Mwangi scored a 39 (+3) for the Eagles who improved to 2-1 on the season.

The Eagles' next match is Tuesday, September 17 against Windermere Prep at Orange County National in Winter Garden.
