In a defensive battle at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, MA, the Montverde Academy boys basketball team fell to AZ Compass by a score of 45-41 on Monday afternoon.

Montverde Academy was paced by CJ Ingram, who scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Dante Allen added nine points, while Trent Sisley chipped in seven. Hudson Greer also had a game-high nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, MVA dominated on points in the paint by a margin of 24-6.

The Eagles are back in action Friday, January 24th against national powerhouse Christopher Colombus in Miami, FL at 6:00 PM.
