The Montverde Academy boys and girls swim teams are set to compete for the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) District Championship on Tuesday at the National Training Center in near by Clermont.
The boys team enters the meet as the defending district champions and will look to add to their impressive legacy. The Eagles have dominated at districts in recent years, winning the championship six years in a row. They'll be aiming to capture their seventh straight title.
The girls program is also in strong position heading into the meet. After finishing second last season, the team is seeking its seventh district championship in the last nine years.
Both teams have been outstanding throughout the 2025 season. Earlier this month, they each placed second at the prestigious Florida Swim Pool Association meet in Ocala, showcasing their depth, talent, and readiness for the postseason.
Tuesday's races are set to being at 9:00 am.
