The Montverde Academy boys and girls swim teams are set to compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Regional Championships on Tuesday morning at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce. The meet begins at 10:00 a.m., and both Eagle squads are aiming to continue their remarkable runs of dominance in the pool.
The MVA boys will look to capture its fourth consecutive regional championship, while the girls are chasing their sixth regional title in the past seven years. Both programs enter the event riding a wave of momentum following a near-perfect showing at last week's district championship in Clermont. The boys won all 11 events, while the girls claimed victories in 10 of 11.
It's been a season filled with success for Montverde Academy swimming, highlighted by standout performances across the board. Earlier this month, both the boys and girls teams finished second overall at the prestigious Florida Swim Pool Association (FSPA) meet in Ocala, further solidifying their status among the state's elite programs.
With regional titles and state championship berths on the line, the Eagles will look to deliver another strong performance on Tuesday in Fort Pierce.
