His clutch performance also earned him recognition as the ASUN Conference Player of the Week, marking another milestone in a stellar campaign.

Across the country, more SIMA alumni made their presence felt:

• Edward Mensah (Southern Connecticut State University) anchored the defense and contributed to a shutout victory over Caldwell, logging 54 minutes on the backline.

• Alfred Baafi (High Point) picked up an assist in a 4-0 win over UNC Asheville on Oct. 4.

• Desmond Mensah (High Point) also played a key role in that clean sheet, logging 51 minutes on defense.

• Luiz Ingavi (SVSU) continued his productive run, recording his second assist of the season in a win over Roosevelt on Oct. 5.

• Joseph Andema (Clemson) was solid in goal once again, registering his second shutout of the season in Clemson's 1-0 win over Elon.
