The Montverde Academy girls volleyball team wrapped up its 2025 regular season in dominant fashion, earning a 3-0 road victory over South Lake High School on Thursday night. The Eagles controlled the match from start to finish and won by scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-22.
With the win, MVA finishes the regular season with an impressive 15-5 overall record and now shifts its focus to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) District Championship next week. The Eagles are expected to enter the tournament as one of the top seeds as they look to defend their title as reigning district champions.

The FHSAA district playoffs start on Monday, but the top two ranked teams will have a first round bye and play on Tuesday against the winner of Monday's opening round games. The district championship is Thursday, October 16 and will be contested at The Villages Charter School. Check back for updates on the district tournament schedule.
*The junior varsity team closed out its 2025 season with a 2-1 (26-24, 23-25, 15-3) win. The JV team went 12-9 in 2025.
