The Montverde Academy boys basketball team picked up its second consecutive victory on day two of the 2025 Bojangles Bash, defeating Ridge View High School 82-65 on Friday in Columbia, South Carolina.

Oneal Delancy led the Eagles with 19 points, while Dhani Miller added an all-around performance with 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals. Jayden Hodge also finished in double figures with 17 points and eight rebounds.

Montverde Academy shot an efficient 59.3 percent from the field (32-for-54) and jumped out to an early advantage, shooting 70.6 percent (12-for-17) in the first quarter to build a 31-9 lead. The Eagles controlled the interior throughout the game, holding a 50-18 edge in points in the paint.

With the win, Montverde Academy improves to 2-3 overall on the season.

The Eagles return to action on Friday, December 19, when they face Gillion Academy in the opening round of the City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers, Florida. Tip off is set for 3:30 p.m.
