The Montverde Academy baseball team scored three runs in each of the first three innings, before scoring another five in the fourth to pick up the win, 14-3 at East River High School on Monday night.

Danati Fronduto went 2-for-2 with two walks, a double, a home run, three runs and three runs batted in. Carlos Feliciano went 2-for-3 with a double and a run, while Jonathan Valdes was 2-for-4 with a run and two runs batted in. Joevansky Velez went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in, while Arnaldo Gonzalez had four runs batted in.

Fronduto earned the win, pitching 5.0 innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits, while striking out eight.

MVA is now 15-7 on the season and wrap up the 2025 regular season on Wednesday with a home game against Lake Minneola at 7:00 pm.
