From clutch goals to defensive dominance, SIMA alumni delivered big performances across college soccer this past week.
🎯 Alumni Highlights
- Mohammed Ibrahim (VCU) – Netted a goal against Marshall on Sept. 24, continuing his strong form in midfield.
- Misei Yoshizawa (Clemson) – Registered an assist in Clemson's battle with Wake Forest on Sept. 25.
- Osei Gyamfi (UNCW) – Added an assist against Mercer on Sept. 27, showing his consistency in the attack.
- Edward Mensah (Southern Connecticut State) – Produced a remarkable week on both ends of the field, leading his team to shutouts against Pace (Sept. 23) and Assumption (Sept. 27) while also scoring the lone goal in each match — both 1–0 victories.
- Alfred Baafi (High Point) – Found the back of the net against Longwood on Sept. 28.
- Justin Sukdeo (Thomas College) – Helped anchor two shutouts from the backline on Sept. 24 and Sept. 27.
- Gianfranco Lopreiato (University of Guelph) – Tallied an assist in Guelph's matchup with Waterloo on Sept. 28.

This week's spotlight shines on Edward Mensah (Southern Connecticut State). Not only did he marshal the backline to two shutouts, but he also stepped up as the match-winner in both games, scoring decisive goals in 1–0 victories. His all-around impact made him the standout SIMA alumnus of the week.
