The Montverde Academy girls basketball team wrapped up its regular season with an impressive 83-62 victory over The Academy of Central Florida on Wednesday evening on the road.

MVA finishes the regular season with an 18-4 record and will now await word on a potential berth in the Chipotle High School National Championship tournament, scheduled for early April.

Montverde Academy put together a balanced scoring effort in the win, led by Mia-Elle Lieverst with 19 points. Missy Odom added 17 points and six rebounds, while Kendall Perry contributed 17 points and four rebounds. Jordan Speller also reached double figures with 14 points.

With the regular season complete, Montverde Academy now turns its attention to the postseason as the Eagles hope to earn a spot among the nation's top teams at the Chipotle High School National Championship where they have won three times in the past four years.
