After soccer, Newton pursued law, earning his Juris Doctor and passing the Illinois Bar. Today, he serves as in-house counsel for BY Sport Consulting, an international football agency managing a client portfolio valued at approximately €10 million.

In his role, he handles contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory for professional players across the United States and internationally, operating at the intersection of law and sport.
