MVA enters the postseason riding the momentum of a productive regular season, highlighted by a .323 team batting average and consistent offensive production throughout the lineup.
Leading the charge has been senior Max Irving, a University of South Florida commit, who has put together an overwhelmingly phenominal season. Irving leads the team in nearly every major offensive category, including batting average (.507), on-base percentage (.649), home runs (6), stolen bases (14), runs scored (35), hits (34), runs batted in (23), slugging percentage (.955), and doubles (12).
Carlos Feliciano has also been a key contributor at the plate, batting .388 with a .500 on-base percentage, while driving in 13 runs and posting a .551 slugging percentage. Miguel Ramos has added depth to the lineup with a .375 batting average and 12 RBIs.
On the mound, Rainer Garcia has paced the Eagles with a team-best 3.50 ERA, while Sid Goecke has recorded a staff-high 33 strikeouts to anchor the pitching rotation.
MVA will look to carry its balanced attack into the postseason as it aims to capture its first district championship since 2023.
