Montverde Academy hosted Spring Signing Day on Wednesday afternoon at The Nest as 23 student-athletes shared with the student body where they will be headed to continue their athletic careers.

The signees were asked by Mr. Damon  to share their name, sport and where they are headed. After all the student-athletes announced their plans, they were joined by friends and family to be escored to their seat where they would sign their letters.

Once all the student-athletes announced their plans, Mr. Damon led the student body to a five second countdown to sign their letters.

"It was an incredible event. It was something I was waiting for since my sophomore year so it was a very special moment for me… it was a moment to celebrate and realize that all of the hard work that we did in the past years was worth it," said girls tennis player Amanda Cotrim who announced she is going to Southeastern University.

This event ended with all the signees' friends sitting on the bleachers coming down to take pictures and congratulate them for achieving their next step.
