The 2020 DecoTurf High School Tennis Team National Championships

What:        The Montverde Academy tennis team will once again travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee to compete in the 2020 DecoTurf High School Tennis Team National Championships. Last year, the boys team won their first national championship at the event and now look to defend their DecoTurf High School National title. The girls team earned a top 10 placement out of 32 elite teams and look to win their first national championship in MVA school history. The Eagles are coached by former Olympian and the current 2020 Davis Cup captain of the Brazilian National team, Jaime Oncins, who has also led MVA to multiple State Championships (2017, 2018). This year the national tournament will host 68 teams and will feature 40 boys and 28 girls teams from 15 different states. The participating teams are led by 26 defending team state champions and 14 defending state finalists.
