Congratulations to our varsity swim team for a great showing yesterday in the tri meet with Rockledge and Satellite! Our girls won both contests while the boys won versus Satellite and fought to a second-place finish against Rockledge.
Individual highlights go to Jean Almeida Jr, having won overall twice, in the 50 and 100 freestyle races! Regina Torres also left the pool with a couple of wins, in both the 200 IM and 500 freestyle.
Congrats also to our rising stars Cassandra Jones and Alejandra Ordonez for their first ever overall wins in dual meets! Cassie won the 100 butterfly with a huge two second drop, while Ale brought home the 100 freestyle with a big PR as well!
Our next challenges are the FSPA invite and the Highlander Invite both on Sept 25-26.
