The 10-0 Montverde Academy girls' basketball team continues to win, even when not competing against fellow girls' high school basketball teams. On Saturday, December 10, the Eagles served at Ovideo Recreation Center serving as guest speakers for a youth basketball game. This is the third community service event the team has done as a group. In September, the team assisted at Eight Waves which is a community center in Winter Garden which provides valuable resources for children and families who live in under resourced communities, while in August, the team helped at New Beginnings, a faith based non-for-profit ministry in Clermont, by assisting with their thrift shop.

On the court, the Eagles return to action on Thursday, December 29 for a game against Lake Highland Prep in day one of the Tampa Christmas Invitational at 12:00 pm.
